Never was a big fan of the pairing, but you've turned me around. An excellent fic, and one that deals quite nicely with the issues facing Logan, especially his immortallity. To bad you never wrote a follow up to this, I would have been interested in reading more.

I'm not a huge X-men or even comic fan, but this is a nice, touching little piece. A very nice bit of WAFFiness. :-)

I've read it before, but seem to have missed reviewing it.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Whenever I get desperate for a good read I always seem to return to this, a fic that you can reread over and over without tiring :)

Hmm, one of the few Logan/Marie fics that don't confuse between the comic and movie versions of the characters. Its really good, so good that I wish this weren't only a oneshot.

I like this.

At first I was sceptical about the pairing, as I didn't know what version of the xmen 'verse you were going to use, but it works well, and you appear to have mixed a couple of different versions of xmen, and it works well.

I 'specially like your wolvie, and the method he's come up with to help with maries problem.

Would this extended exposure to logan's power become semi permanent like when rouge takes ms. marvels powers (i think that's who) in the original cartoons / older comics?

This is a truly interesting story, I like it a lot. Can't wait for an update.

Oy.
I liked this one alot.

I'll admit that at first I had a bit of a problem figuring out who the hell Marie was, but then you mentioned the souther accent and it all clicked.
At least I figured it out before you talked about her powers.
Anyway, I'm guessing this is based on the movies, correct? And, I'll guess, after the second one(is the third one out?) Anyay, the plan was interesting, and I like your brand of humor.
One small problem though.
Wolverine weighs 300lbs total.
Not that it changes anything, just facts for facts sake(really, you can go look it up 5'3(though in the movie he's 6') and 300lbs(so if it's the 6' movie Logan than maybe he would weigh 400lbs -shrug-)) Moving on.
The internal monologue was well done, and the insights you give us into him are very interesting. I honestly don't think I've read a comic that gets inside Logan's head that is well, this type of story.
The characterizations were well done, and with exception of the weight thing, I can't think of any errors/typos, so ten points for you.

Alex out.

Long time reader, checked the reviews and realised I had missed this one but had read it many times, decided to fix that.

I'm a large fan of your works willing to try anything you've written even of some of the pairings were a little offputting, and I have yet to be disappointed.

This fic is one of the few short drabbles I've enjoyed usually skipping over anything under 10,000 words as a rule but I said to myself, sure, why not?

In character, considering the down side of his powers and an easy and a provocative conversation that took me to a happy place of Rouge under the sheets waiting for me...I mean Logan :)

You never cease to amaze me and hope to continue being an avid fan for a long time to come.

Till next time :)

Wulvies long term planning is something the comic explored at times, but the movies glossed over. Nice to see you drawing more on the former than the latter!

Also, a good look inside the head of someone VERY different from the rest of us. The impacts of things like a 400# skeleton and enhanced senses aren't things we usually think about...

Very nice story. I really like Logan/Marie (i.e. Wolverine/Rougue) pairing. My only objection is that I'd rather have longer stories (and complete ones; yes, I know ;-)).

Well, I can always reread Songs of a Wayfarer - An Epistolary Epiphany, and Bittersweet, (warning: NC-17!) both Logan/Marie. Both long, both finished.

Keep up good work.

Why here is no preview button?

Great story; I especially like the way it builds on the X-Men movie universe and possibly the Wolverine graphic novel. I'll admit that, being a longtime X-Men fan and only having seen each movie twice, I was a little confused at first as to who Marie was, but once I figured it out I also noticed that the characters were spot-on - and I think I would have liked it even if I hadn't seen the movies.

Awesome. I've never kept up with the x-men universe. But i do think rogue and wolverine would be a great pair

Can you write a sequel? Please? Any chance of that whatsoever?

I've been following your works for almost a year now. I'm always amazed at how you manage to write so well. When you moved to fanficauthors.net, I re-read most of your Potter universe, and was happy. I avoided the BtVS pieces because I've never enjoyed the show. I probably never will have any interest in it. I noticed the X-men fanfic on the sidebar a few months back, but never paid it any heed. I remember enjoying the comics thoroughly, but couldn't imagine enjoying fanfiction based on them.

I was wrong. Tonight, as I was scraping through various fanfiction trying to find something to read, I as usual checked all the stories I'm interested in being continued. Your site (and the other fanficauthor.net authors) is always my first stop, opened up in tabs. =)

This was excellently written, Logan stayed completely in character. Everything about him was spot on. Rogue's accent could have been placed in quietly, but as I don't know how to write such an accent (or any accent at all), I certainly can't comment. =)

I'd love to see more pieces revolving around Logan. He's always been my favorite comic book character, his depth of emotion and outward lack of reaction always places him in the "insanely interesting" category, aslo the "I so want to be him" category.

As always, exceptional work. This is actually one of the better pieces I've seen from you. Short, sweet, simple, and beautiful, it conveys emotion and understanding. Those two items are hard to bring to life.

Thank you for writing as much as you do. I'm sure you realize how many people enjoy your work, but I'm not sure you realize how many people are inspired by your writing. Thank you, again.

Sincerely,

Nicholas

Damn, this is good. I wish you'd write a sequel to this... pretty please?

I understand how Marie would eventually aquire his healing factor on a long-term basis, but why would Logan become immune to her pull? Do you theorize that he has a DBZ-style power-up factor, as in 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'?

I'd really love to read more of this, so give it a thought, 'kay? ^_^

How are you doing this? Even if I don't know much of the Xmen fanfic this one sounds just great and perfect. As if the time just stop to show you how life is great.
Maybe it's because the surname of Rogue is Marie *wink*.

Your view of life in general seems just right. Not easy for everyone, but right.

I enjoy it a lot, thanks Tim.
