Read it again and still love it. I think the reason you don't like this chapter is because you rushed things with Umbridge, and actually let her use the quill on Wednesday without explaining how she(Wednesday) kept Harry from realizing what was happening(though I can't think of a reason either) because the way you've written them makes itseem like they have a soul bond(dark soul bond? that would be truly unique as far as I have read in any fan fiction).

Who would they bow to? The Flamels as alchemists on their death bed. Snape as a potion master after one of their advanced classes promised at Christmas. And(lol) Molly and Arthur for putting up with Ron and Percy without killing them.

I just wanted to say again that I LOVE this story and this series! I like how with this one you showed that Wednesday and Harry are in fact human, kids, and can be hurt. On my part I cheered Wednesday on when she attacked Lockhart!! If only Harry could have been well enough to do something! :D

I can't wait for part 3! Seeing more of Harry's history is what I'm looking for! That and finding out who Harry and Wednesday bow too!? I'm kinda thinking the only one I could see them bowing too is the leader of thier clan since they take clan very seriously but...hm...maybe each other? It's killing me not knowing!

I hope the next part is up soon! I've read and re-read year 1 and 2 almost every couple days!!

Well, if I was going to be tongue-in-cheek, I'd say that Harry and Wednesday would bow to Cthulhu, but really I figured that they meant "The Addams", i.e. Gomez, as the head of their family.

As for direct access to the afterlife, I'd find the best teachers to expand my knowledge of magic/history/whatever I wanted. Maybe Harry learned his family history from James and other Potter ancestors. Maybe he traced back Lily's heritage - though I suppose that's a bit cliche.

I have to say that the two stories in this series are some of the most humorous I have ever read. The plot lines are believable when taken in context with the Addams family genre and they are very well written. Well done - I look forward to the other years.

Just read year one and two straight through and I didn't find it that repetitive. My opinions on the things to think about: Depends on what the Afterlife is, Probably the Head of the Addams Clan which would be Gomez at this point I believe, and probably not because it's effective and he's good at it.
