Amazing, I think you are the only person I've ever read (and thats a lot) who has been able to do a H/Gabby to the point that I can belive it. And you've wrote two. Fantastic story, a really good job on both of their emotions.

I've reviewed this one before, but on re-reading, I think I was too harsh. The first half is, as you intended, "fun". It has baditude out the ears.

The second part is what really grabs me. I hesitate to call it romantic, as the pull just does't look like that, but there is a tenderness in their interaction that is quite touching.

The two parts are not wholly incompatible. You could make a truly beautiful story if you were to cut down the flirtation in the first half, and then put the develpment effort into the healing process.

May not be your favorite, but I like it.

I have known a few veterans that might recovered better from the ravages and the many kinds or injuries from war's they faught, with that kind of care and understanding.

I love your Harry Gabrielle fics. I enjoy the way you have the characters play off of each other. I found the introduction of each other highly amusing and quite enjoyed the waltzing sequence and the booby traped floor. However, what really made this fic the greast piece that I belive it to be, is the interactions of Matt and his french counter part. I loved the bland way Matt had of saying he'd been to Hell and back. Anyway, TRhanks for posting and writting this. I really enjoyed it.

I really liked this one because it is different from all of the rest. I liked it because i didn't have the fairytale feeling that alot of HP Fanfics have. Overall it is not my favourite ('This means war' took that position) but is definitly my favourite short story... good job!

Great little story. I think more comfort with a lot of great fight action mixed in. I love the stuff with Henry the Fifth quotes and trips into hell but it's the tenderness that makes it so good.
