Again, another wonderful character piece. Many thanks for posting.
Incredible story. You are an amazing writer.
As to the "Is This" question, it is "all the above", and it is a tale of completion. Not only by them completing the task of ridding the world of Voldemort, but in finding in themseves as a kindred spirit, and complete understanding. Whether they take it beyond that will be for another tale (and needless to say, it will be up to them), but now is the time for healing and peace. Thank You. TTFN
Great story, you often don't see "mature" Gabrielle and it was nice to read it.
Where did this one come from? I thought I had read all your stories some time back, but saw this story listed on one of the HP fan sites and thought I'd check it out, and I'm glad I did. A very touching, painful story of how things could have been.
I'm glad to see you putting Hermione and Neville together. They seem to fit together under the circumstances.
Harry and Gabrielle need each other after what they have gone through. It will take more than two weeks for the healing to take place, but it's a start.
Thank you for sharing your talent and skills with the rest of us.
This is the most touching story i have ever read and i truly respect your mental maturity for writing something like this. I wish you would turn it into a multi chapter fic or atleast a sequel though i know in my heart that this sotry dosent need something like a sequel or more chapters. But i would really like to know what happened after that. Do they stay together or break apart?
A truly beautiful story.
thats alot of money holy shit
great--i really liked it
WOW, I'm fighting back from just sobbing. You wrote thier feelings in a way that anyone who has ever lost someone can read this and go, 'that's exactly how it feels'. It was an amazing story
Very unusual but beautiful story. It just works. Thank you.
Lovely little fic. You're right - the plot holes would be too much in a "real" fic, but for a short story like this, it works.
I particularly appreciate the rather more epic nuances in this compared to the original - Manticores, sword-fights, a Horcrux hidden in Hell... Though I can't help but think that Hell is the *last* place you want to hide your Soul Anchor in...
u need to write a continuence to this story
Great story and projected the feelings of a warrior. Thanks for sharing!
Powerful stuff. I don't think many people understand what warriors give of themselves, what they give up, what they sacrifice willingly in order to do what must be done. You did a wonderful job of portraying that. Well done.
I love it. Your ability with words is astounding. Keep it up!
This is an extremely moving fanfic. You continue to amaze me, as you manage to create such lively and realistic emotions. The story is heart breaking and moving and I loved every single line of it. Thank you for writing it, Amy
i really liked it, and it seemed cohesive to me - if you hadn't mentioned it i would have seen this as exactly how you must have imagined it.
Wow, just wow. You have depicted war for what it is. Most people seem to have forgotten why we are in Iran and Afghanistan. They do not realize how traumatizing it can be for a soldier. This is the first fic I have read on this website and I must say that I am greatly impressed by your writing. If the other fics are up to this standard than I can read this without bashing my head into the wall at a lesser story's stupidity. Well done.
Outstanding, really enjoyed that, hope there is much more like it. Story that goes beyond Moldyshorts and into some really good times.
