The first time I stumbled upon this story while googling Harry and Gabriel Fanfiction, I stopped reading after the introduction, because I thought it was HarryxHermione, which I'm not that big on. After a couple weeks I actually just checked out your Harry Potter page and realized that this is a Harry and Gabriel FF. Now I feel really stupid :P

A beautiful story, a true fairy tale. Thank you.

Much as I love your work, and I do, very much, once, just *once*, I'd like to see you write a Harry/whomever story where Hermione isn't automatically grafted to Ron's hip. Granted you give the git a complete personality transplant from how he behaves in the books, but if you have to do that, why bother burdening her with Ron in the first place? It'd make just as much sense to give Malfoy the new brain and put Hermione together with him (as some authors do).

All right, that's my only negative review for this story, which I'm sure I'll enjoy as much as I do your other work, even if I have to skim over the R/Hr moments. I really do hate that jerk....

If it makes you happy, my last ever HP story is Hermione/Viktor

This story, fairy tale that it is, comes at such a perfect time in my life. It's just what I need to restore me. I'm really looking forward to it

Well, I'm all out of wine, so does vodka count? >.O

Franklu, I liked Hope, despite how it fell flat in the fairy tale sense, but then, considering that I've read the translation of the original Brothers Grimm fairy tales, it still ended better than they did.

Besides, just read the Russian versions if you wan somethign that plays with your way of seeing things.

"Oh, Ron," Hermione sighed.

Who is she addressing? Hermione is speaking with Sebastian and Samantha.

Sounds like a great place to start. Fairy tales are pretty awesome. Great job.

*grins* Great start! Oh-so-promising. Woo-hoo! Now I just need to make myself a cuppa (too early for wine), and then I'll sit down and enjoy what's bound to be a glorious fairy tale. You are a master of those (which is why your fics are my favourite comfort reading).

Interesting. However, all grandmothers instinctively delight in spoiling their grandkids and laughing as the mother tries to repair the damage.

Thus, Hermione would not have been as stern with the tykes.

Jeconais replied:

Heh - Hermione as a grandparent is based firmly on my grandparents. With a grandfather like Ron - who does ALL the spoiling, one of them has to be the responsible and stern one.

Okay, I just have to leave a quick review.

After looking forward to this story for so long, and reading the last (or first, for Hermione) line, just totally put me back in the mindset of a small child, *finally* getting that great bed-time story!

I really have no idea how your stories are so much better than any others I've read at manipulating my feelings (in a good way!), but man...

I'm just gonna have to quote countless fangirls through the ages (and Meg :p): SQUEE!

Yay! I'm so pleased to see the start of this story up. I hope your life is in a better place than it was when you made your last blog entry on this site, but either way, thank you for finding the time to share this with us.

And now, on to chapter 1!
